Members of Indiana Businesses for a Clean Energy Economy agree to the following set of principles:
• Indiana has substantial potential to generate electricity from resources such as wind, solar, biogas, geothermal, and small-scale hydro.
• Indiana has immense potential to manufacture and sell components for commercial-scale clean electricity systems, such as for wind farms, solar arrays, biogas facilities, geothermal systems, small-scale hydro systems, and energy efficient equipment.
• Indiana would benefit from dedicated commercial-scale incentives to accelerate the attraction of jobs and investment in both the construction and manufacturing of renewable energy and energy efficient systems.
• Indiana needs to strengthen public policies that will promote commercial-scale renewable energy and energy efficient systems.
