Who We Are
Indiana Businesses for a Clean Energy Economy is an emerging coalition of business owners, managers, entrepreneurs, and investors, local economic development groups, and trade associations united by a vision of Indiana being a leader in the manufacturing, distribution, and sales of renewable energy and energy efficient systems. We are primarily interested in the diversification of commercial-scale electric systems, which will make the biggest dent in diversifying Indiana away from fossil fuels, like coal, and creating the most jobs for our state. In the coming weeks, IBCEE will be relaunching – with plans to shift its focus from federal to state clean energy policy, and embarking on a membership drive.
The Indiana Businesses for a Clean Energy Economy is coordinated by Tina Noel, with financial support from the Energy Foundation, and technical support from federal and state clean energy non-for-profit organizations.
